An opportunity for a driven and ambitious individual to join a dynamic and forward thinking blue chip as an Infrastructure Systems Analyst. This role offers the chance to actively participate in the development and implementation of technical infrastructure projects. As a main contact for global technical issues and opportunities, the role will ensure that technical needs and requirements are communicated to the global IS organisation as well as supporting the rollout of new applications and IS services. You will manage core global systems, processes and procedures, perform system analysis, design and document tests, monitor and analyse existing systems peformance and recommend improvements.
The ideal candidate will be MCSE (2000) and CCNA qualified with min 3 years experience in a similar role. Extensive knowledge of and the ability to support Windows Server (2003), Exchange 2003 and Active Directory essential. Good understanding of DNS, DHCP, TCP*IP, Firewalls and VPNs and networking in general is essential. Knowledge of backup and virus control software, Citrix and Terminal server, IIS and MS proxy servers. Advanced knowledge of SQL 2000 is required. Any knowledge of server hardware architectures and Raid configurations would be an advantage. Candidates must have excellent analytical and communication skills and be an strong team player. Good business awareness and customer oriented attitude is essential. Degree in IT or related subject is highly desirable.
